About My Mommy Made That
As a Mom of two little boys in Knoxville, TN, embroidery
started as a hobby for me. I have
always loved to sew, but I quickly fell in love with embroidery and all of the
creativity and attention to detail that it entails. I enjoy integrating the two by embroidering items that I sew,
such as purses, scarves and hats.
One day, when my eldest son, who was about three at the
time, was wearing one of the shirts I had embroidered for him, he was asked
where he had gotten his shirt. He
simply replied, “My Mommy made that!” and the business was born.
Now the boys are getting older, at
six and five years
old I have more time to devote to embroidering things for other people.
It is very important to me that the item you receive is embroidered with
love. I hope you find something
that will be treasured for years to come at My Mommy Made That!
Blessings,
